Purgatory

At the time of Purgatory’s creation, it felt like I’d been walking around in circles, making the same mistakes over and over. I created it as an expression of the feeling of limbo I was experiencing in my life.  At the time, the lockdown had just begun, and I had just moved back with my family. Little did I know that we’d soon be plunged into a pandemic that would make the world feel as if it were actually standing still.

For this, I reached out to France based producer Anbuu, receiving permission to use his track Lazy, which was really resonating with me at the time. This project was the first time that I ever attempted character creation + animation, and while I was happy with the result at the time, I definitely can’t wait to try it again.  To this day, it remains one of my favorites because of the colors.
